Getting started with Revlytec is simple. We handle the technology and the printing so you can focus on running your business. Here is the step-by-step journey from your order to your first new review.
Phase 1: Customizing Your Order
1. Choose Your Bundle
Select the 1-pack, 3-pack, or 5-pack depending on the size of your business. Most businesses place one at the main checkout and others in high-traffic waiting areas or individual tables.
2. Submit Your Details
After checkout, you’ll be directed to our Setup Form. This is where you provide:
Your Google Review Link: The direct URL where customers leave feedback.
Your Business Logo: A high-resolution file (PNG or SVG) for custom printing.
3. Approve Your Digital Proof
Before we print, our design team creates a digital mockup of your 5×7 display. We’ll email this to you for a final look. Once you reply “Approved,” your order moves into production.
Phase 2: Using the Display
4. NFC Tap vs. QR Code
Every Revlytec display is equipped with dual-tech connectivity:
NFC Chip: For a modern, “contactless” tap experience.
QR Code: A printed backup for older phones or users who prefer using their camera.
5. Finding the “NFC Sweet Spot”
To ensure a successful tap every time, it helps to know where the phone’s antenna is located.
iPhones: The NFC reader is at the very top edge of the phone. Tap the top of the iPhone against the top of the acrylic.
Androids: The reader is usually in the center of the back. Tap the middle of the phone against the center of the acrylic.
6. The Dual-Angle Advantage
Your handcrafted wooden base features a precision-cut groove. You can set the acrylic panel in two different positions:
Upright: Best for high counters where customers are standing.
Tilted: Best for lower tables or desks where customers are seated.
7. Troubleshooting the Tap
If a phone isn’t responding immediately:
Ensure the phone screen is unlocked.
Remove very thick or metal-lined phone cases.
Hold the phone still against the stand for 1-2 seconds.
Phase 3: Strategy for Success
8. Strategic Placement
Place your Revlytec stands where customers naturally pause:
The “Point of Sale”: Right next to the card reader or register.
The Waiting Area: On coffee tables or sideboards.
Exit Points: Near the door where customers finish their experience.
9. The “Ask” Strategy
The stand does the work, but a small nudge helps. Train your staff to say: “If you enjoyed your visit today, we’d love a quick tap on our review stand—it helps us out a lot!”
10. Boosting Your SEO
The more reviews you collect through your Revlytec display, the higher your business will rank in Google Local Search. Consistent reviews tell Google your business is active, trusted, and relevant.
11. Care & Maintenance
To keep your display looking premium:
Clean the acrylic with a microfiber cloth to remove fingerprints.
Avoid harsh chemicals; a damp cloth is all you need for the wooden base.
